You know what, yeah, this brewery typically only has 5 beers on tap and sometimes a guest tap. So what? Their beers are outstanding (I've gone there 6x this month alone - okay, I do live across the street). The Patio Pale Ale & Backyard Blonde are especially delicious. I don't particularly care for Red Ales, but their Rooftop Red Ale is more than acceptable. The brewers are good guys and appear to know their stuff quite well. I've only had one off-putting experience with someone behind the counter - someone who didn't seem to know much about beer - but after a swig of that refreshing Blonde on that 100°F day, all was forgiven. Note: Look for the Pie Hole food truck parked out front. It's not always there, but when it is, your blessedness has just doubled.

Nicely done, this new brewing start-up. First, kudos for building a space that opens up onto the street and really feels like a part of this old funky neighborhood. The inner city urban design and decor fits right in. An industrial feel, cement floors, garage door on the front that was open last night, visible brewing area with chain fence separating it from the walkway to the toilets. Only had one beer and it was fine, the Patio Red Ale. More importantly, great service. Was getting ready to leave and the guy behind the bar who I assumed might be the owner walked around and to the front where I was seated to check in and see if the beer was OK and if I needed anything else. I guarantee a dozen other bars within a mile you would have left like you were invisible. A brief chat and I was on my way. But now I'm wanting to go back. If I worked or lived in the area this would have to be a regular stop I'm thinking. So many good things going on in this area of town and Border BC fits the bill nicely. What a welcome change from the annoying overpriced faux-Irish pub up the street in the P&L District where I had a band gig earlier. Couldn't get out of there fast enough and down this direction to try these folks out. The gig was fine but the pint here saved the evening, thank you very much. I'll be back.

What an awesome find on my way back to ATL. Fortunate for me, Boulevard was closed...which I can get in ATL. The crew was great. The other patrons are great. The beer was great and I'm very stoked with their creativity...a dark wheat that I would drink all the time.
